We have video Endoscopic facilities available at SDH Ganderbal. The health department is providing USG, ECG, X-Ray, operation and other laboratory investigations to the patients through a net work of 104 health institutions which include two Sub District Hospitals (one with trauma unit), Two MMC’s, 15 PHC’s (one with Trauma unit) and 16 NTPHC’s. The ambulances are available round the clock at each and every health intuitions of the district. The department provides all the immunization to the Children and pregnant ladies.
In addition to the routine work, the health sector of District Ganderbal is discharging an important responsibility of providing Medical aid facilities to the yatris of Shri Amarnath Ji visiting through Baltal route for the purpose.
